In the UK, certification as an Identity Service Provider (IDSP), is a regulated requirement by the Home Office for a number of identity checks. IDSPs are certified to carry out remote digital identity checks to an acceptable level of security and assurance.

ReadID is an integral part of the identity verification process compiles an evidence package to be used in Statutory Excuse in regard to Right to Work regulation. Employers can use this to prove their process of identity checking against employment contracts. Similarly, employment agencies can use this to prove the identity of candidates when proposing them to temporary contracts.
