High-speed rail operator, Eurostar, is preparing for the future with the launch of their SmartCheck solution in partnership with Entrust and iProov, supported by ReadID. Eurostar hopes to implement SmartCheck in all it's stations in the near future.
Based on a 2021 pilot, the fully fledged SmartCheck solution implements seamless e-gates, allowing passengers to use Inverid and iProov's NFC and biometric technology to simply walk through the UK exit border by reading their passport and scanning their face with the app.
